This image has been in my head for a long time. I have, at various times, wanted to paint it or draw it. It's been a little private mental vista for me. The day I painted this, I took a long break from what I was doing, and went into my studio. I pulled up this canvas panel, which has had the orange and yellow background on it in acrylic for some time, and finally put the rest of it together.

I think it's one of my favourite paintings ever. It has been displayed twice.
